The Soft Hustle Life is a publication and creative lab exploring mindful technology for a calmer life.
It is a space where digital habits, personal systems, and nervous-system care meet. Here we explore how to design routines that reduce friction, use technology with intention, and build simple automations that carry you through both focused and low-energy days.
Because progress shouldn't cost you your peace.
The Idea Behind the “Soft Hustle”
In a culture obsessed with doing more and doing it faster, The Soft Hustle Life experiments with a more grounded approach.
The soft hustle isn’t about slowing down for its own sake. It is the practice of building a meaningful life with systems that support you, rather than exhaust you.
At its core, soft hustle asks a practical question: what becomes possible when you stop relying on constant effort, and start designing for how you actually function?
Can you give your attention without your body pushing back? Does the way you work support the life you are trying to build? Do your systems carry your weak points, so that your strengths can do their work?
That’s the balance we explore here: not ambition versus rest, but pressure versus support. Not doing less, but removing unnecessary friction. Using technology not to accelerate everything, but to protect your attention and energy so progress becomes sustainable.
You don't have to override yourself to make progress.
Meet the Founder
Hi — I’m Sanne Losekoot, though I often go by Sienna Lauren in English. I’m a developer, writer, and harpist exploring the edge of how technology shapes our attention, energy, and inner lives.
For many years, I lived in a constant state of pushing through — balancing parenting, software work, and creative projects while trying to stay ahead of growing demands. Over time, it became clear that the way I was structuring my days wasn’t sustainable. Not because I lacked motivation, but because the systems around me required more energy than they returned.
That realization marked a shift. Instead of trying to “do better” through discipline alone, I began experimenting with gentler structures: personal systems that reduce cognitive friction, technology used with intention, and habits designed to support limited energy rather than override it.
Those experiments eventually grew into Sootheware — an ongoing body of ideas and early-stage tools focused on creating calmer, more supportive digital environments.
The Soft Hustle Life is where I share that exploration: reflections on mindful productivity, thoughtful use of technology, and practical ways to build a life that feels less reactive and more humane.
